    Airlines are companies which provide passenger and cargo transportation services using air planes. To offer such services each company has to have a relevant license or certificate. Airlines vary from those operating one plane to transport mail or cargo, to full-service international companies maintaining a fleet of airplanes. They distinguish between the following categories of airline services: domestic, intra continental or international, and intercontinental. Charter flights with scheduled services are also available. Airline personnel consists of pilots, flight engineers and flight attendants. Each plane has its own carrying capacity, thus there is a fixed seat number on the plane and passengers are allowed to have limited hand luggage with them. Other luggage goes separately in the luggage compartment. Onboard, passengers are offered drinks, snacks and rugs which are included in the price of the ticket. Before, during and after takeoff, flight attendants provide the passengers with the rule to be stick to in the plain.
